• Used for dehydration, but is generally used as an indication determining a dewpoint in an air or gas stream.
• A dry sample will indicate blue.   As the dewpoint increases the color changes to pink, then white.
• "White" indicates the gas is saturated with water.

• Normal applications include low inlet dewpoints to a regenerative dryer to achieve standard instrument quality dewpoints.
• Used to achieve -100 °F dewpoints for the computer chip industry as well as medical applications where low dewpoints are required.
